40 MW plant in development. Commercial operation targeted for 2030–31.

About

An energy innovation developer.

TIPI Canada develops green hydrogen projects. The project in front of the company is a power-to-liquid fuels plant in British Columbia, and the training of the people who will run plants like it.

We are an Indigenous-owned company, owned by a citizen of Métis Nation British Columbia.

Energy innovation developer. Green hydrogen and renewable energy projects. Related credits.

Patent applications are pending on 100 kW to 5 MW zero-emissions portable power plants, rooted in the work already underway. David J. Sedmak has been invited to submit to NATO DIANA.

What we are aiming at

We intend TIPI Canada to become a leading green hydrogen supply chain for hard-to-abate industries in the country.

The 40 MW plant is the first commercial step. It is designed so a later expansion toward 100 MW can follow if customers warrant it. Later commercial steps follow only after those projects are defined.

How we work

  • We are participating in the Foresight Canada ecosystem of cohorts, to pressure-test the plan with customers and partners before the plant is built.
  • Customer conversations are underway across the fuel slate. Those conversations decide how the plant grows.
  • Site selection in British Columbia is in progress. We are looking for power, water, and a practical route to the customer.
  • The plant is being developed so the fuels can be delivered physically in British Columbia.
